Every morning, upon returning from breakfast, I would find a new piece of towel art in my room.
The day I arrived, I got these two elephants.
The next day, a swan replaced the elephant I had used.
Then a flower replaced the second elephant.
The swan got used next, then the rose, and I ended up with two elephants again.
It must be one of those skills hospitality students learn. I'm reminded of vegetable carving, another Thai craft.
The only pity was they replaced one pair of towels every day despite me not putting them on the floor to indicate that I wanted to continue using them.
